{"version":"1.0","type":"video","provider_name":"FrameRate","provider_url":"https://framerate.tv","title":"Fruit Golf | Behind the Scenes","description":"Client: Coal Car Studio | Platform: VR, Mobile | Type: Launch Trailer\n\nIn Fruit Golf, one player straps on a headset and putts their way through a course with a piece of fruit instead of a ball. The rest of the group tries to stop them, in VR or on a phone or tablet, dropping sharks, flying pigs and exploding barrels mid-swing.\n\nFor the launch trailer we wanted that crossplay to feel real, so we cast a real family. Long-time collaborator Jonathan Rollins played the golfer, with his own kids and mother-in-law playing saboteur, some in headsets alongside him, some on phones. We shot the live-action open on RED at Golf Baren in Nacka Strand, then walked eight minutes down the road to an apartment to capture the actual multiplayer session: two players in VR, two on iPhone and iPad, swapping setups as we went.\n\nCoal Car's spectator PC build did a lot of heavy lifting on the gameplay side. Quad-split capture of every POV at once, individual angles in full 4K, and a freecam we could fly through the course for the more cinematic shots. Good tools make for a much easier edit.\n\nYou're either putting or plotting. Either way, it made for a fun day on set.","author_name":"DualNorth Studios","author_url":"https://framerate.tv/profile/dualnorth","thumbnail_url":"https://nddkbgiieurtcomzihzq.supabase.co/storage/v1/object/public/thumbnails/3b8935a9-9019-4cf4-b20d-20f20e92a802/4a1ecffa-c3b0-4a33-a217-8ae909241e03.jpg?t=1791542486219","thumbnail_width":1280,"thumbnail_height":720,"width":1280,"height":720,"html":"<iframe src=\"https://framerate.tv/embed/4a1ecffa-c3b0-4a33-a217-8ae909241e03\" width=\"1280\" height=\"720\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"autoplay; fullscreen; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen></iframe>"}
