(uh-oh!)\n\n‘The Last Fortune’ was a massive labor of love; I had the initial idea for the story about 2 years ago and it took about 8 months to finally publish. This short was meant to be a metaphor for purgatory, and what comes after but I didn’t want to necessarily be heavy handed about it so I added some humor and through the fun style, made said metaphor a bit more digestible.\n\nI’ve made several short films in the past but spent much more time in writing this one and I had also never made one in 3D as I’m fairly new to the medium compared to other senior animators I’ve met.
