The following is a behind-the-scenes glimpse from selected recording sessions. Among the many stainless steel mixing bowls that were recorded, this one stood out for its distinctive rattle. This element added a wonderfully unpredictable, high-end counterpoint to the low fundamental pitch. Using a custom friction mallet, an infinite loop of focused texture and resonant low end was produced.
