1.0 video FrameRate https://framerate.tv I’m honored to have been invited by @westleyw to create a brand-new piece of calligraphic motion design for 'Ink & The City: Calligraphy in Urban Life' @ink.brush.city , an exhibition that’s part of the Hong Kong International Airport Arts & Culture Festival 2025. *These calligraphic works are by calligraphers #卓少衡 ,#區建公 ,#謝熙 This has been a truly exciting project for me. I’ve been practicing calligraphy for several years now, and I’ve found that the learning process shares many similarities with motion design. We control the speed of writing just like we control the timing in animation. Through this project, I also deepened my understanding of calligraphy: its uses, its content, and its cultural context. I’ll definitely continue practicing, and hopefully you’ll see even more calligraphy motion designs from me in the future! I hope you enjoy the work. If you’re in Hong Kong, don’t miss the exhibition!
