1.0 video FrameRate https://framerate.tv This short animation was made as part of the annual Quick Draw challenge, where you are provided with a word and then have 48 hours to create a short film. For 2024, the word was 'Treat'. I had from Friday 7pm til Sunday 7pm to start and deliver a short film. This film is about a Piñata being more than meets the eye. What is going on underneath the colourful paper outer layer that produces those sweet treats? This was a lot of fun to make. It pushed me out of my comfort zone to make something uncomfortable, though it's not what I set out to do, but I latched on to the first strong idea I had and ran with it. Special thanks to Richard Jackson for providing the incredible (and disturbing) sound design and supporting me through the project.
