Developed as a visual counterpart to a track from the album VIIV, the film follows the music into a flow of light, rhythm and evolving abstract form. This was also a passion project for Joosep Volk and me — a chance to make something very close to the kind of visual work we both enjoy. The direction was open, with a lot of trust from the musician, so the challenge was to turn that freedom into one clear piece: choosing a path from many possible directions and making the whole film feel unified through rhythm, form and sound. Built around the idea of opening and transformation, the animation begins in darkness and gradually unfolds into organic movement — shifting through generative geometry, metamorphosis and a close dialogue between sound and image.
