From the 2019 “Ekologistika” fire to the 2020 large-scale war in Ukraine, which caused a tense geopolitical situation in the region, Lithuanian residents still do not have an effective Civil Protection system. The “KrizeStop” app concept is a tool designed to inform and alert Lithuanian residents. The prototype of the tool is based on research that examines the importance of visual communication during extreme situations, good global practices, surveys of residents, and an analysis of the challenges faced by people in crisis. The presentation simulates an accident at the Ostrovec (BY) Nuclear Power Plant.
