Their calculations help organisations reach their goals by integrating factors, thematic insights and sustainability considerations. As part of a wider marketing campaign MSCI started the Explainer Series, with a goal to take some of its key index data and turn this into an easier to digest information in the form of animation. We had to create a film that clearly showed what the 3 Scopes are. We focused on highlithing the importance of limiting the global warming to 1.5C. Scope 1 emissions are usually controlled by companies. Scope 2 emissions occurs indirectly from electricity, heating or cooling. Scope 3 emissions include all other indirect global gas emissions.
