1.0 video FrameRate https://framerate.tv TRON: ARES — GMUNK Computer Vision Reel Computer vision and HUD systems designed by GMUNK Studio for TRON: Ares. These overlays were designed from the perspective of machine perception. The frame is treated as a field of analysis where every pixel can be interpreted, categorized, and transformed into data. Our process began by squarepacking the live action plates, subdividing the image into computational grids that reveal hidden structure and motion. Once the frame is organized within this lattice, the system begins its work. Trackers emerge. Targets lock. Streams of data expand and collapse as the machine evaluates the scene. A core component of these systems is the presence of source code embedded directly within the visual language. Lines of logic and instruction appear as part of the interface itself. In certain moments the imagery dissolves into this underlying code, revealing the internal language of the machine before resolving back into visual analysis. It creates the sensation that the world is being translated in real time between image and computation. Each layer of the overlay represents a different analytical process. Distance, identity, trajectory, behavioral prediction. These layers accumulate into dense ecosystems of information that are constantly scanning and updating. The guiding philosophy was maximum detail and living systems. Interfaces that breathe, process, and evolve as the shot unfolds.
