Composed entirely from found objects, the piece aspires to evoke the tonal richness and dynamic range of a full orchestra while bypassing traditional instrumentation. The following is a behind-the-scenes glimpse from selected recording sessions. The first movement focuses on pollination over the course of a full day, from the perspective of a single flower as it is visited by insects, birds, and mammals. To capture the intricate interplay and subtle vibrations between flora and fauna, an electromagnetic resonator is used to manipulate ball bearings, mimicking the complex textural sounds of these encounters.
